Happy 1st, precious!
One year had passed, and you've grown so much!
You're so smart! You know so many things I sometimes wonder what's in your little head. You know animals, parts of your body and you basically understand us, short of being able to communicate with words.
You're just learning to walk now, and I can't wait for the day you'll be running around and chattering away to us. Right now, you are really good at getting your way by whining and pointing. ;) It's so cute!
Happy 1st birthday, Audrey! May the Lord bless you richly, keep you in His hands and mould you as you grow!
Love, Aunty Eunice.
Clearing the shelves
So, the other day I packed 50 odd titles in a bid to sell them, and guess what? I was offered only $6 for 50 odd books?!! Only for them to sell it away again at a higher price? No way.
So, today, I decided to drop by the Salvation Army and donate my books and hopefully more kids get to enjoy the books that I so loved when I was younger.

Highlights of Sydney
Though I spent my time in Sydney with a nasty flu bug, there are some highlights to my trip.
I’m pretty sad that I spent my last trip ever to Sydney (at least the last trip in a long time to come) sick and unable to visit so many of the places I love. I wasn’t able to shop along Pitt Street as much as I like, I wasn’t able to join my family at the Sydney Fish Market, I wasn’t able to have my Lindt cafe chocolate, I wasn’t able to go back to Neutral Bay to hang out or relax or eat at Maisy’s cafe, I wasn’t able to hit Glebe markets (BUMMER!) or go visit Glebe for that matter… Ohhh, it was all because of the nasty flu.
Anyways, apart from that, here are a few highlights of Sydney.
Dinner on the first night. My fav Vietnamese place for pho!
Beef pho. Well, it didn’t taste as yummy as before… but still good nonetheless. I just love pho!
The next morning, we headed to Uni of Sydney for Sister’s graduation. That’s the reason we were in Sydney for – her convocation.
At long last! After 9 years! Dr. Thong!
This is Darling harbour. It’s got a great night view.
A must try is pancakes on the rocks. I do love me thier pancakes and scrambled eggs. The all-day, never close, all Western food.
Happened to be there on a Saturday, so the Rocks Market was in full swing.
I’ll never tire of this view. The iconic Harbour bridge and Opera House.
Harry’s Pies and Peas on wheels. Cafe de wheels. Very famous for their pies. The first ever original store at Woolloomooloo. The hotdog and mash is reallly awesome.
Bondi Beach. So many good-looking people just chilling at the beach!
Dinner at Hurricanes, a very famous steak/ribs place in Australia. Look at my Uncle! So ready to dig in his full rack of ribs!
I had 350gm of medium Rump Steak with Mushroom sauce. It was sooooooo good!
Drove up to Blue Mountains. The 3 sisters rock formation.
Blue skies. Very beautiful scenery. It’s called the Blue Mountains because it looks a bit blue during some seasons.
We took that skyway cable car to get across the Blue Mountains. So beautiful!
Wagyu beef roll at Fujiya, one of my fav Japanese restaurants in Sydney CBD.
Met up for Yum Cha on the very last day, just a few hours before I caught my flight home to Singapore. Such a short but sweet catch up!

How very fast 1 year passes
Tonight, we celebrated Audrey turning 1. How quick is that?
She’s the smartest little firecracker around! Well, smartest 1 year old ever. She’s getting so big now and just starting to walk/stand on her own. I believe she’s going to do great things one day!
For now, she’s just hanging out and being a sweet angel. :)
Audrey’s 1 year old cake! Minnie Mouse! It’s so cute, and the cake was delicious!

Recuperating
Needless to say, I had an extremely bad week in Sydney. I was sick and lethargic. On the night before we were set to head to Sydney, Mum forced me to see the doctor. Not a lot of good that did me because I didn't get better at all.
So yea, I was a sick thing in Sydney all week. I spent a lot of time sleeping in and feeling tired.
I caught a flight home a day earlier on Tuesday, went to the doctor, and basically spent this whole week getting better. I haven't even met up with any of my friends. It's just been my medicine, my bed and my dreams.

Sweet Sunday: Pink & Orange
However, there are times when the combination of colors just draws to me and holds me captivated.
Pink and orange put together makes me wanna squeal because they're just bright an happy colors! It's so bimbo, but what can I say? I utterly love it!
Here's what I own that is so bimbo but I don't give a rat's ass that people might point and make snide remarks.

| Too bad it doesn't fit my iPhone too well. It comes out at the side too easily. :( I'm still keeping it though.. just to look at the pretty color combination! I know, I'm so crazy like that! |
